7-1 VICTORY FOR GAME 6

Sunday, April 16th – Virden, MB

The Virden Oil Capitals had a big victory over the Terriers on Sunday night at Tundra Oil & Gas Place!

With a crowd of 1400 people, the arena was not quiet!

The game started with an Oil Caps goal scored by Colten Miller at 9:53 in the first. Gorchynski and Chastko assisted Colten Miller. Miller’s goal was the only one in the period.

In the second, Bryden Kiesman scored the Terrier’s first of the night 6 minutes in. Shortly after, Oil Caps Captain Brody Wilson and Forward Nolan Chastko scored goals of their own furthering the Cap’s lead! Wilson from N.Miller and Chastko from Lehto. The second period ended 3-1 in favor of the Caps!

The game’s final period was exciting for fans at Tundra Oil & Gas Place!

Four goals were scored during the final 20 minutes of the play and all four goals were Oil Cap goals!

Even though the Terriers fought and made the Caps work hard, the Caps came out with a 7-1 victory tying up the second round 3-3 sending the teams to an exciting game 7!!

At 6:19 Roux Bazin scored assisted by Gorchynski & Hunt, at 8:39 Trevor Hunt scored assisted by Veitch & N.Miller, at the halfway mark Andrew Blocker scored with an assist from Hunt, and with 40 seconds left In the game Josh Lehto scored assisted by Wilson!!

Game seven is tomorrow, April 19th in Portage at Stride Place, at 7:30 PM puck drop!
