The Virden Oil Capitals organization is proud to announce Carson Buydens an ‘ 04 rookie with the Oil Caps has committed to play D1 hockey in Princeton on a hockey scholarship.
Tyson Ramsey, GM and Head Coach had this to say:
“We are very excited that Carson has made the commitment to attend Princeton University on a hockey scholarship! Carson is a very talented player and has worked extremely hard to earn this opportunity. We as an organization are proud that he has chosen to play here in Virden and develop with our group and we will do everything we can to prepare him for this next step in his hockey career. It is a great day for Carson and our organization!”
Carson is extremely excited to have made the commitment and plan for his future playing hockey.

Princeton University is located in Princeton, New Jersey. The Princeton Tigers men’s ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 college ice hockey program that represents Princeton University. Roughly 8,600 students enrol at Princeton University. The Princeton Tigers men’s ice hockey team is a member of ECAC Hockey.
