D’Amico Signs in the ECHL

Former Virden Oil Capital Patrick D’Amico has signed a professional contract.

D’Amico was a member of the Oil Capitals in the 13/14 season, suiting up in 14 games where he collected 17 points before being called up to the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League. 

D’Amico, a Winnipeg product, played a total of 71 games for the Saints / Oil Capitals Franchise, netting 52 points. 

The Oil Capitals wish to congratulate Patrick and wish him the best of luck in the future.

The Colorado Eagles have signed Patrick D’Amico for the 2015-16 season.

The 6-foot, 200-pound center will enter his first season as a professional after registering 20 goals and 30 assists in 72 games with the Regina Pats of the WHL last season.

“Patrick is a talented young prospect who will have a great opportunity to show what he can do,” Eagles head coach and general manager Chris Stewart said in a press release. “Given his potential, he certainly has a chance to be one of the better rookies this year in the ECHL.”
