Former Virden Oil Capital Devon Becker has committed to Bryn Athyn Athletics.
Becker had been with the Caps for only one year but he played a total of 50 games throughout the regular season and playoffs. In those games he clocked in a total of 20 assists.
“I choose BA (Bryn Athyn) as their staff has been recruiting me since November and have shown great promise, as well as a great opportunity for me in hockey and school.” Becker said. “I’ll be taking exercise physiology in school.”
“Devon came to our organization this year and added depth and experience to our line up. We are thrilled that he will be able to pursue his education while playing hockey at Bryn Athyn. On behalf of our entire organization we wish Devon well, and thank him for his contribution to our organization on and off the ice.” said Oil Capital head coach and GM Troy Leslie.
“The Oil Caps was an unforgettable experience, being in your last year of hockey with a great group of guys and having an amazing run like we did, was incredible” Becker concludes.
