Virden, MB – The Virden Oil Capitals will head out on the road for the final time in the MJHL pre-season tonight as they visit the Dauphin Kings. 

The Kings have rolled along this exhibition season posting a record of 4-0-1, with their only blemish being a shootout loss to the Neepawa Natives. 

Meanwhile, the Oil Capitals are coming off a win over the Weyburn Red Wings last Sunday. 

Nolan Ross continues to lead the way scoring 4 times and adding a pair of assists for 6 points in 4 games played. 

Game time at Credit Union Place in Dauphin is 7:00.

-Mack Hardy will likely return to the Oil Caps lineup this weekend. He has been rehabbing from an injury sustained playing ball hockey this summer.

Kings Notes:
-The Kings roster features 15 players with junior A experience, 12 of which suited up for the Kings last season.
-Seven members of the Kings roster are from the Parkland Region.
-The Kings added 95 Kurt Sonne from the Kindersley Klippers, 95 Ryan Coughlan from the Nanaimo Clippers and 97 David Brumm from the Vancouver Giants this week.
-Former Oil Capitals Captain Cody Nelson is in his first season as an Assistant Coach of the Kings.
-Similar to the Oil Caps announcing their partnership with the Wallace District Fire Department, the Kings revealed their commemorative Dauphin Fire Department third jerseys yesterday. The Kings will honor different firemen throughout the season at home games.
