Guidelines For Fans During 2020-21 Season

The Virden Oil Capitals are excited to announce the 2020-21 Season beginning next Wednesday against the Wayway Wolverines for the first and only pre-season home game. Before kicking things off for real against Portage in the Valleyview Co-op Home Opener.

This unique season we are only letting season ticket holders in the building. This year with all the social distance guidelines set in place by Manitoba Health, the building’s capacity sits at 500 spectators. Currently, we have 450 Season Tickets sold. Get your tickets now! The Safety of the players, staff, and the fans remains the number one task at hand for the Virden Oil Capitals. To ensure everyone’s safety, we are strictly following the guidelines set in place by Manitoba Health and the MJHL. Below we will explain the fan guidelines while attending a game at Tundra Oil & Gas Place.

Fan Guidelines

  • Doors will open 45 minutes before puck drop
  • Please sanitize your hands as you enter the facility
  • It’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDthat a mask is worn in the facility.
  • When properly socially distanced in your seat, you are free to take your mask off.
  • It’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDthat you wear a mask if, for example: go to the restroom, concession, buy 50/50, etc.
  • If you have an assigned seat, please remain in that seat.
  • If you have an assigned standing spot, please stand there.
  • Fans are encouraged to sit socially distanced from people outside their household/bubble.
  • All fans must use the self-assessment tool before attending games, and if feeling unwell, please stay home.
