The Virden Oil Capitals are proud to announce their first letter of intent signing of the season. 2005 forward Aidan Wuerfel of the Winnipeg U18 Wild has committed to the Oil Caps for the 2023-2024 season. Wuerfel is an assistant captain with the Winnipeg Wild and currently sits third in team scoring with 4 goals and 10 assists for 14 points in 14 games.
“We are very excited that Aidan has committed to us for next season. He is a very good player who will bring so many great things to our group.”, said GM and Head Coach Tyson Ramsey. “He plays a hard, gritty game and has the ability to score. He also brings exceptional character so we are very happy to have him join our team.”
