In 25 games, the 3rd year veteran has scored 16 goals and added 14 assists. In the month of November, Kanaski scored 9 goals and added 7 assists in 12 games played.
“Kolten has been a workhorse for us over the last month.” Stated Director of Business and Hockey Operations Jamie Hodson. “He has been the driving force in our climb back into the playoff picture. He works hard every night and leads by example on the ice. He has scored some big goals throughout the last month. In saying that, we could point to many guys who have helped steer the ship over the last month. It’s been a team effort to get this ship going in the right direction. This is a tough award winner to pick when so many individuals on the team could have earned it. But a big congrats to Kolten and this is a well-deserved award for him.”
Head Coach Troy Leslie commented on Kolten being chosen for this award “Kolten had an excellent month in November, and that has mirrored out team’s success. Not only has he provided offence and timely goals, but has also been very good in the face-off circle as well. His leadership both on and off the ice has also been very good.”
