Oil Capitals acquire Hore

The Virden Oil Capitals have acquired forward Graeme Hore from the Dauphin Kings for future considerations.

The 19-year-old Wawanesa product scored nine goals and 21 points in 46 games with the Kings last season.

“Graeme adds leadership and experience and will be a welcome addition to our team,” said Oil Capitals head coach and GM Troy Leslie. “Graeme will provide offence and is very responsible defensively. He’s a real 200-foot player.”

“We like what Graeme bring to the table,” said Jamie Hodson, Director of Business and Hockey Operations. “He adds even more depth to our front end. We think he’ll fit in well with the group moving forward.”

Hore is expected to start practicing with the club soon and will be in the lineup at some point during exhibition play.
