Oil Capitals Acquire Mason Fischer from Dauphin Kings

The Oil Capitals have acquired 20-year old Mason Fischer from the Dauphin Kings.  Fischer, a left handed forward from Medicine Hat Alberta, in his 3rd season, playing 89 games and amassing 28 points.  Fischer has split time between Dauphin, Bonnyville of the AJHL, and Kindersley of the SJHL.

“Mason adds some veteran depth to our front end.  He can play a bottom 6 role if needed and plays up the middle.  He can play in many different situations, offensively and defensively, and compliments our group well.  He will bring some added veteran leadership to our dressing room as well,” stated Coach & GM Troy Leslie.

The Oil Capitals would like to welcome Mason aboard and expect him to be in the lineup tonight vs the Swan Valley Stampeders.
