The Virden Oil Capitals are excited to announce that they have signed defenceman Patrick Comeau from Winnipeg, MB. Comeau played the last 2 seasons with the Winnipeg Bruins of the Manitoba AAA U18 Hockey League. In his last season with the Bruins Comeau registered 9 goals, 23 assists and 40 PIM’s in 47 games and he also appeared in 3 playoff games as an AP for the Oil Caps.
Oil Caps GM and Head Coach Tyson Ramsey is pleased to add Comeau to the roster, “Patrick is a big body that moves extremely well and has good skills as well. He came joined our team during last year’s playoffs and was very poised for a young guy coming in to a tough situation. We are really pleased with Patrick’s progression since he was drafted, and we are excited to see how he fits in to our group moving forward. We would like to welcome Patrick and his family to our organization.”
