Old is New Again For Oil Caps Broadcast

Virden, MB – The Oil Caps are proud to announce that long-time radio enthusiast, Ray Walker will once again be behind the mic for the 2016 -17 season. Walker will be in the booth for all games this season; home and away.

Walker said, “ I am so happy to come back to the Oil Caps organization.” He has been involved in radio since, September 1988, and part of the MJHL since 2002 when he started part-time with the league; currently the longest serving MJHL broadcaster. Oil Caps goalie coach, Ryan Potter will return for colour commentary at home games and some road games.

Oil Capitals President, Dale Lewis said, “ We are excited to have Ray back, he puts a lot of passion into his work and it’s evident that he loves the Oil Caps.”
