TRADE ALERT
The Virden Oil Capitals ended the trade deadline day by acquiring 19 year old goaltender Bailey Monteith from the Trail Smoke Eaters for future considerations.
We also acquired The MJHL’s leading goal scorer, 20 year old forward Nathan Driver and a 6th round pick from the Winnipeg Freeze for prospects Brayden Stevenson, Tootoo Fotheringham, Nathan Lenoski and a 5th round pick.
We released 18 year old goaltender Ethan Kadatz. We would like to thank Ethan for his contributions to our hockey club and wish him all the best moving forward!!
