VIRDEN OIL CAPITALS COMMUNITY CONNECTION FEBRUARY

The Virden Oil Capitals in partnership with iJack Technologies, are proud to involve the team in community events throughout the town of Virden and surrounding area.  Here is a recap of what the team did for the month of February!

Goulter School Breakfast Program – Some of the team participated in the breakfast program once again, to assist with serving breakfast to the students before school hours.

Goulter School & Mary Montgomery School- “I love to Read.”  Some of the Oil Capitals team and staff members took the time to visit elementary schools to read with students throughout kindergarten to grade 4.  The students were able to mingle, read to, and ask the boys questions.

Goulter School School Skate-  Students from Goulter came over to Tundra Oil & Gas Place to have a fun skate and some of the Oil Caps were there to join!

Mary Montgomery Floor Hockey- Several of the Oil Caps went to MMS over lunch hour to play floor hockey with the grade 3 & 4 students.  The students and teachers at Mary Montgomery love when the Oil Caps take part in this, and it will now become a weekly event.
