June 27

Virden, MB – The Virden Oil Capitals are proud to announce that Athletic Therapist & Equipment Manager Brenden Hope has accepted a position with the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League.

The Winnipeg native joined the Oil Capitals last summer after graduating from the University of Winnipeg with a 4-year science degree in Kinesiology and Applied Health.

“We wish Brenden nothing but the best of luck in his next stop in Saskatoon,” said GM & Head Coach Troy Leslie.

“He made a real impact on our team this past season and we will certainly miss him.”

The Oil Caps will begin the search for a new Athletic Therapist / Equipment Manager in the coming weeks.
