The Virden Oil Capitals have acquired the CJHL playing rights to Tyson Enzie (95) of Calgary, AB from the Yorkton Terriers in exchange for goaltender, Cameron Pateman (96). This trade completes the future considerations involved in the Kurt Johnas trade that brought Johnas back to Virden at the January 10th trade deadline.

Enzie is a 20-year-old left winger who brings championship experience to the Oil Caps dressing room having won the SJHL’s Canalta Cup, Western Canada Cup, and Royal Bank Cup Championships with the Terriers during the 2013-14 season. In two seasons, Enzie suited up in 119 games for the Terriers while collecting 44 points (17 G, 27 A) and 34 penalty minutes. He was named the Terrier’s Co-Rookie of the Year in 2013-14 during Yorkton’s championship run.
