Crops for the Caps

🌾CROPS FOR THE CAPS🌾

The Virden Oil Capitals organization works diligently to provide opportunities for young athletes to become exceptional hockey players and citizens. Success of our program is achieved through a culture of hard work, integrity, and community involvement embraced with passion and dedication. We are committed to excellence and will provide an exciting experience for our fans, one that they will be proud of and one that builds success both on and off the ice.

In 2020 the Virden Oil Capitals transitioned to an entirely ‘Not for Profit’ organization, with the future goal of becoming a truly community owned team. With this change and the rising costs to operate a successful junior hockey team, we have had to identify new fundraising opportunities. We have so many great ag producers and businesses in SW Manitoba and SE Saskatchewan and we felt that this project could create an invaluable partnership and help us continue running an elite junior hockey program that is a desired destination for young athletes. All donations will be eligible for a tax receipt upon request from the Virden Oil Capitals and will also give the producer a chance to win some ag related products or services. Draw will be made May. 1, 2026.
