Jordan Greig

Jordan Greig

Jordan Greig has been named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Sherwood Hockey Top Defenseman for the month of March.

The 20-year-old blue-liner was instrumental in the Oil Caps playoff run into the league semifinal. In 10 playoff contests, Greig was the Oil Caps’ top scorer with 10 points (10 assists). Throughout these games, Greig averaged more than 30 minutes a night against the Flyers and Terriers top lines, doing so while not taking a single penalty.

Greig received MJHL first-team all-star honours this season along with being named the Oil Caps co-MVP and Top Defenseman recipient. The Souris product also received MJHL Defenseman of the Month honours in December as the league’s top blue-liner.
