Oil Caps Acquire Knorr

Virden, MB – The Virden Oil Capitals have acquired 1997 born forward Jeran Knorr from the Cochrane Crunch of the NOJHL for future considerations. 

Knorr who hails from Kelowna, BC had an excellent rookie season in Cochrane, scoring 22 times and adding 36 assists for 58 points in 53 games. He also added 3 assists during a nine game playoff run. 

“Jeran had a real productive year last season,” said GM & Head Coach Troy Leslie. 

“He will bring size to our forward group along with his ability to provide offense.”

Knorr who measures in at 6’1 and weighs 186 pounds, played his 17 year old year in the KIJHL with the Kelowna Chiefs where he registered five goals and two assists. 

“Im very excited to join a good organization and a good team,” said Knorr.

“Im looking forward to seeing what I can bring to the table and help make a run at a championship.”

The Oil Caps would like to welcome Jeran & his family to Oil Country.
