Ag Summit, Happening This Thursday; 30 Trade Show Exhibitors!
The Virden Oil Capital’s 2nd Annual Ag Summit will take place this coming Thursday, November 21 at the Tundra Oil and Gas Place. The Nutrien Ag Solutions Trade Show event starts at 1:00 PM, which will feature 30 trade show exhibitors. Farm Credit Canada speaker series begins in the mid-afternoon. Farmery Brewery bar and booth will be a popular corner. The Pioneer appetizers (Botson Pizza) will precede the Ritchie Bros Product and Technology Auction beginning at 6:00PM. Decisive Farming has donated the game tickets for all attendees of the trade show, as the Oil Capitals play vs the Steinbach Pistons at 7:30. There are also silent auction items throughout the afternoon to speed up the auction process. There are so many amazing items for auction up for grabs! This year we will have two key-note speakers attending; Kim Keller of DoMoreAg and Shaun Haney of Real Agriculture, two esteemed speakers in the “Ag Field”. Not to mention Jeff Odgers as “MC” for the afternoon, sharing some of his NHL stories for his illustrious career.
This is an important event for our Hockey Club, and we are anticipating a fun filled day! This will mark a great day for our local producers and partners to get out and enjoy themselves after a very stressful harvest.
