Cochrane Stock Farms Previous Players of the Month

NOVEMBER 2017 – KYLE SALAWAY

Kyle Salaway has been named the Meyers Norris Penny Oil Capitals player of the month for November.The 20-year-old forward, from Estevan, Sask., scored eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points in 11 games last month. He was recently recognized league-wide as well as Salaway was named the RBC player of the month for November early last week.

“Kyle has really grown as a player this year and has become a big part of what we’re trying to accomplish as a team,” said Jamie Hodson, director of business and hockey operations for the Oil Capitals. “He’s been a great fit on our club. He represents our organization very well off the ice too.”

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native ended up with four multiple-point games last month, while recording points in 10 of 11 games.

Salaway currently has 17 goals and 37 points in 31 games, averaging 1.19 points per game.
