The Caps took the win for game 2!

GM and Head Coach Tyson Ramsey had this to say about the weekend and the upcoming home games:

“I was really pleased with our effort this weekend. To come out of a tough rink to play in with a split was huge especially after losing game 1 in OT. I thought we competed really hard both nights but didn’t defend the front of our net well enough on Friday night and allowed them back in. We were better in that regard last night and to come home for 2 with the series tied feels pretty good! As good as that feels we know that games will get tougher as we go here and we will need to take care of business at home or last weekend didn’t mean much. I like the mindset of our guys; we have a few areas to clean up and we have a day here to work in those and catch our breath. Should be a fun couple of night’s here in Virden!”

Oil Caps next action against the Steinbach Pistons for games 3 & 4 at Tundra Oil & Gas Place is Wednesday, April 20th and Thursday, April 21st. 7:30pm puck drops!
