The Oil Caps Lose Game 4 in Double OT

MJHL semi final series now tied 2-2 heading back to Winkler for game 5 on Saturday.
The Flyers got on the board early in the first on a goal by Zach Nicolas and after trading chances the Oil Caps would tie the game late in the first on a goal by Evan Groening after a slick feed from Grady Lane.
The Oil Caps would take the lead a minute in to the second on a powerplay goal by David Bielik, only to have the Flyers tie the game 2 minutes later on a point shot by James Richards. Josh Lehto would restore the Oil Caps lead with 6 minutes remaining in the second after poking a loose puck past Winkler netminder Malachi Klassen.
The Flyers would tie the game on a short handed goal early in the third then take the lead 5 minutes later on a goal by Dalton Andrew. The Oil Caps did not give up and after some quality chances, Roux Bazin would have some short handed magic of his own by beating a defender up ice and scoring a backhand beauty to even the score at 4 heading into overtime.
The first overtime saw the teams trade some point blank chances but the score remained tied after the first OT period.
In the second overtime, the Oil Caps narrowly missed winning the game on a quick 2 on 1 but that gave way to a 2 on 1 the other way and the Flyers scored to end the game halfway through overtime number 2.
