Kyle Salaway of the Virden Oil Capitals was named the RBC player of the month for November.

“Kyle has really matured as a player this year,” said Jamie Hodson, director of business and hockey operations for the Oil Capitals. “His confidence has grown and he’s really starting to reach his potential. Kyle will be a big part of our success as a team as the season moves forward. He’s a great individual off the ice as well.”

Overall, Salaway has 31 points (13 goals, 18 assists) in 26 games for the Oil Caps, who sport a 17-9-0-0 record after 26 games.

The runners up are 18-year-old forward James McIsaac of the Portage Terriers and 19-year-old forward Dexter Kuczek of the Winnipeg Blues.
