Schram Shines in Hometown

January 30

Winnipeg, MB – Devan Schram capped off a solid week with a two goal performance in Winnipeg as the Caps knocked off the Blues 4-1 on Saturday night.

The win snapped the Caps 3-game losing streak and moved them to within one point of the Blues for 4th place in the MJHL Standings.

After a 2G-1A performance in a loss against OCN on Friday, the 20 year old Winnipeg product had another big night leading the way for the Caps, who put in their best effort of January.

Sean Kuehn bounced back with a 25 save performance to earn the win while Dylan Thiessen and Zach Whitecloud added goals as well.

The Caps and blues will meet twice more in the next two weeks as they continue to give fans a preview of what could be a first round playoff matchup.

The Caps are right back at it tomorrow night vs the Dauphin Kings.

Game time is 7:30!
