Oil Capitals Trade Lewis

Virden, MB – The Virden Oil Capitals have traded forward Tanner Lewis (96) to the Winkler Flyers for future considerations. The Virden product was in his third season with the Oil Capitals; this season registering 7 points (2G, 5A) in 20 games played. 

Lewis played in a total of 160 games for the Virden Oil Capitals, registering a total of 56 points (23G, 33A) and had 72 PIMS.  

The 6’0”, 170 pound forward is the son of a former Winkler Flyer, Dale Lewis who played for them from 1987-1989.

Head Coach, Troy Leslie said, “Tanner, was the epitome of a good Oil Capital. It is hard to see him go and we wish him nothing but the best.”
