OIL CAPS ADD TO ROSTER

The Virden Oil Capitals have added Virden native Braeden Lewis (2003) from the Western Hockey League’s Swift Current Broncos.

Lewis has spent his entire junior career with the Broncos except he suited up for 9 games with the Oil Caps during the covid shortened 2020 2021 season.  The speedy forward is an elite skater with good skills and will certainly compliment an already strong group of forwards.

GM and Head Coach was very excited to add Lewis to his roster, “We are so excited that Braeden has come home to finish his junior career”, said Ramsey.  “He is a great skater that has excellent skills with a tremendous work ethic.  He will be such a great addition to our team both on and off the ice.  He is an outstanding young man and I can’t wait to work with him.  We are very fortunate to add him to our team.  Welcome back Braeden.”
