‘Tin for the Bin’ starting next week!

It’s that time of year again!

The Oil Caps and Valleyview Co-op have once again teamed up for a pair of “Tin for the Bin” nights to gather non-perishable food items for Virden Christmas Cheer.

All non-perishable food items collected at the two upcoming home games – Tuesday, Dec. 5 against the Swan Valley Stampeders and Friday, Dec. 15 against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines – will be matched by Valleyview Co-op (cash value) and donated to Christmas Cheer.

The Christmas Cheer program has been running in Virden and area for several years. The main goal of the program is to provide families in need with a Christmas hamper filled with food and gift items.

All donations are greatly appreciated!  If you are looking for suggestions, here are a few…
