Flyers Shutout Caps

Virden, MB –  The Oil Capitals wrapped up their second game of the weekend with a 4-0 loss to Winkler Flyers. 

First Period:  
The Winkler Flyers got on the board early with a goal at 3:23 in the period from Garrett Kukilca assisted by Will Blake and Scott Gall. The Flyers made it 2-0 with a goal at 7:05 from Jacob Lacasse assisted by Tyler Lindstrom and Braden Billaney. At the end of the first period, the Caps trailed by two. The shots on goal were 11-7 in favour of the Flyers. 

Second Period:
The second period the Flyers found the back of the net at 14:14 with a goal from Nico Labossiere assisted by Gino Lucia and Brayden Cullum. At the end of 40 minutes of play, the Caps were down 3-0. The shots on goal in the second were 10-5 Flyers. 

Third Period:
The Flyers would score one more time at 3:37 in the third with a goal from Brayden Cullum assisted by Gino Lucia and Nico Labossiere. The final score was 4-0 Flyers and final shots on goal were 30 – 26 Flyers. 

The Capitals next action is at home Thursday, November 24 against Swan Valley at 7:30 p.m.
