Hardy, Dudar Win Ball Hockey Championship

Mount Pearl, NL – A pair of Virden Oil Capitals struck gold at the 2015 Canadian Ball Hockey Championships in Newfoundland last week. 

Forwards Mack Hardy and Jake Dudar were members of the Manitoba Grasshoppers who won the gold medal in the U-19 division of the tournament. 

The Grasshoppers knocked off the host Newfoundland Service Masters Selects 3-2 in the Gold Medal Game on Sunday, August 2nd. 

Hardy, who hails from Winnipeg finished the tournament with 4 goals and 1 assist in 5 games while Dudar was held pointless in 5 tournament games.
