Virden, MB – The Virden Oil Capitals announced today that they have rounded out their Hockey Operations Staff for the 2015/2016 season.
The Oil Caps are proud to welcome a pair of new faces to the club in Brenden Hope and Nolan Jago as well as welcome back a familiar face in Garry Remple.
Hope, a Winnipeg product enters the fold as the clubs new Athletic Therapist and Equipment Manager. Hope recently completed a 4-year science degree in Kinesiology and Applied Health, athletic therapy program at the University of Winnipeg.
He holds his CPR-HCP and Sport First Responder Certifications and is a certified Athletic Therapist as of June 2015.
Most recently, Hope was the Athletic Therapist for the University of Winnipeg Baseball Program.
Along with his baseball experience, Hope has worked other sporting events within the CIS as well as the 2014 Directors Cup for Hockey Manitoba.
Hope will arrive in Virden in the coming weeks and assume his new role prior to training camp.
Meanwhile, Nolan Jago joins the Oil Caps the clubs new Equipment Assistant.
The Brandon product played one season in the MJHL for the Neepawa Natives and also played NCAA College Baseball with the Minot State Beavers and comes to the Caps after one season as the Equipment Manager for the Brandon AAA Wheat Kings.
Jago is currently employed with Tundra Oil & Gas in Virden and will be a welcome addition to the Oil Capitals Dressing Room.

And lastly the Oil Capitals are proud to announce that Garry Remple will return to the Club as the team’s Dressing Room Attendant.
Gary is entering his third season with the Caps and will once again proudly present the “Garry Cup” to the team that wins the annual Training Camp Intrasquad Game!
