Hardy Wins Weekly Award

 

Five goals in one game was good enough to earn Mack Hardy of the Virden Oil Capitals the MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week honour.

Hardy, 19, collected a total of eight points (6-2) over three games last week for the Oil Capitals, who have 17 wins and 34 points in 26 games.

Hardy, who hails from Winnipeg, leads the Oil Caps’ points race with 17 goals and 30 points in 24 games.

The runners up are 19 year old goaltender Roman Bengert of the Steinbach Pistons and 19 year old forward Rhett Lough of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
