LETTER OF INTENT

The Oil Capitals organization is very excited to announce the signing of Virden native Bryce Bryant to a letter of intent for next season.

Bryant (2006) currently plays for the U18 Yellowhead Chiefs. He is having a stellar year in the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League with 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points in only 25 games, good for 6th in league scoring.
Bryant played his minor hockey in Virden before heading to the Rink Hockey Academy for the 2021-2022 season and returned home this season to suit up for the Chiefs.  He has been a key component of a hard working Chiefs team that has exceeded expectations so far this season in large part due to the play of some of their younger guys like Bryant.
GM and Head Coach Tyson Ramsey was very happy to announce this signing.
“Bryce is a very very good young player.  He has come such a long way in the last couple seasons due to his work ethic on and off the ice”, said Ramsey.  He is ultra intelligent and can make plays that other guys may not see.  He is a skilled guy that can make plays and score but also puts himself in good positions away from the puck.  What he lacks in size he makes up for in work ethic and character and we feel like he will be a top end player for us in our league.  Not to mention he is a hometown guy and that will be very exciting for our fans.  We can’t wait to get him here and on the ice.  We want to welcome Bryce and his family to the Oil Caps organization.”
