The Virden Oil Capitals have signed 2004 forward Brett Sabel from Fond du Lac, WI. The 18-year-old forward played this season with the Fond du Lac High School Cardinals in the USHS racking up 22 goals and 33 assists for 55 points in only 24 games. He also played in 8 games for the Janesville Jets 18U AAA program where he had 3 goals and 2 assists.
“He is a bigger body that can skate and has an ability to score. We are very excited to add him to our roster for next season and we would like to extend a very warm welcome to Brett and his family to our organization,” said GM and Head Coach Tyson Ramsey
